Study Skills/Writing - Mrs. Sweet

Apologia General Science - Mrs. Kinman

Just a reminder of your homewok for the week:

Complete reading module 3 and the study guide questions that go along with it, ( on # 1 -  finish terms, and 11-19).

Write-up one experiment from Friday's class.  This should only take about 10 minutes to do.  Use your book to help you if you need to.

Study vocabulary terms from modules 2 and 3 and be familiar with the proper order of the steps of the Scientific Method  ( like the group game we played in class ).

Pace these assignments out through the week - don't wait until Wed. or Thurs. to get started.

See you on Friday - Remember it is FOOTBALL FRIDAY!  Wear your favorite team jersey.

7th Grade History - Mrs. Thrift

 History Homework due 10/1

 Read Chapter 13.

Study for your test.  The test will be October 1.

For you test, study the following:

  Chapters 1-4, 12-13.

  Any maps that were given

The study sheets that were given in class

  Vocabulary words.

You do not need to memorize specific dates.  You do need to be prepared to answer some essay questions.  I want to see that you really understand what life was like in Ancient Egypt.

Chemistry - Mrs. Stanley
Update: Mon. Oct. 18

Please study and review all material from Module 3 and complete any unfinished work (On Your Own, Review, Practice Problems, Lab report).
Also read Experiment 4.1. We will preform this in class on Friday.

The test for Module 3 will be passed out on Friday, for you to take at home (not open book!).

I realize this is a light load for you this week. Please use this as an opportunity to review any concepts in the previous modules that you were unsure of, do some extra credit, preview module 4 or organize your notebook/lab notebook.

***A Note about EXTRA CREDIT***
My suggestions would include...written or oral reports on Lavoisier, Fahrenheit, John Dalton, Democritus, The Rutherford or Bohr models of the atom...or ANY OTHER CHEMISTRY-RELATED topic.  Surprise me!  I am open to see what you want to study in a more in-depth way.  Show me that you have done extra study, learned something new... and I will credit you for that!

Blessings to You and Yours,

Valerie Stanley
